My tb mare has a flat foot w/a low heel and long toe. She had a hoof resection last October and it has grown out most of the way. But she has a hard time keeping shoes on, her feet are cracking and they dont grow. Our farrier hasnt taken anything off her front feet the last two times he came. I have tried several supplements, such as Vita-crumbles, Focus, and I have tried Reducine and Absorbine HoofFlex. We are thinking about letting her go barefoot for a couple weeks, b/c if her foot doesnt grow soon theyre wont be anything to nail to. Please post a reply!
